A GREAT BIG ALASKAN WELCOME

The big news is that everything will remain the same when it comes to tour buses downtown. Busses will still be arriving and queuing at the Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race log cabin on 1st Avenue. The iconic cabin will play host to buses seven days a week. Downtown Guides will be given to visitors, and on Sundays, informational cards that specify what  businesses are open will be distributed. Busses will be staying downtown between 1 and 3 hours and the passengers, generally speaking, are looking for lunch. If time allows, folks spend time both shopping for souvenirs & artwork as well as visiting downtown attractions.

Another transportation feature downtown is  the Princess shuttle which runs from 9am until 9:30pm, this shuttle picks Princess people up and drops them off at various locals downtown including the cabin and the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center. Fountainhead Hotels and Pikes Waterfront Lodge also shuttle their hotel guests downtown as well.

When you see folks walking around downtown make sure you give them a Great Big Alaskan Welcome!

The photos for this website are incredibly beautiful, and photos of the skyline are impressive. Nice T-shirt design!! I understand it is your work, Amy.
