HELP PROMOTE A HAPPENING DOWNTOWN

Downtown is a happening place and we want everyone who visits our website to know it. In order to promote the events downtown we need you to submit them.
How to submit an event.
- Click on Submit Event Widget at downtownfairbanks.com
- Fill in appropriate fields.
- Upload a picture. (We strongly encourage a picture to accompany the event in order to make our calendar unique. Wide images work the best.)
All events will have their own individual post linked to the date on Downtown Fairbanks monthly calendar. Events will pop up on the front page of the website the week they occur under “Upcoming Events,” be featured the day they occur under “Today’s Events,” and will be sent out in our semi monthly communiqué The Downtowner.
First Friday events must be submitted by the 17th of the month prior to the event. We will upload the event onto our calendar, format a collective downtown First Friday post, and design and distribute posters throughout Fairbanks. This is a great opportunity to promote your event, and to showcase downtown. Get your artists involved by letting them submit a biography or an article about their show.
With these tools we have the ability to help your business promote all the specials, sales, live music, art, theatre, and special events throughout the year. Help us help you!
