Wish there had been something like this when I lived in Fairbanks in 1956-58. My husband was a young 2nd Lt. stationed at Ladd AFB – With a baby on the way no money for me to spend on clothes. I do remember shopping at Monty’s Department Store. My experiences in Fairbanks will be close to my heart forever.
