Free live Concerts in the Golden Heart Plaza present a wonderful opportunity for locals and visitors alike to get outdoors, soak up some sweet summer sunshine, and delight in some of Fairbank’s most gifted musicians.
Everything from the energetic sounds of steel drums to Alaskan folk songs to the popular tunes of the 9th Army Arctic Rock Band are on the schedule at the Golden Heart Plaza. The plaza is the perfect venue- with the abundant flowers and the river nearby- it is easy to appreciate the simple beauty of downtown, made more wonderful by the sound of music. Grab a bite to eat or pick up a coffee from one of the downtown eateries, head over to the plaza and treat yourself to a free concert.
Concerts normally take place from Noon until 1PM on Tuesdays and Fridays and from 7PM-8PM on Friday. We have Festival Fairbanks to thank for this great concert series, check out the complete schedule for more information.
See you on the Plaza!
